Facebook has released additional reactions to posts beyond the traditional 'like'. For those that work in marketing or manage Facebook pages beyond the personal realm, this is a huge game-changer for social listening and relationships.
From the social listening side, you receive a much deeper understanding of how your audience receives your information. Did they think it was funny? You may see an increase in the level of 'haha' emojis. Were they unhappy? Well before, they may just ignore you, hide the post, or comment. Now they can respond with an 'angry' emoji that will be visible to your entire community!
From the relationship building perspective, those that love the work you do can go out of their way from simply liking to 'loving' your content. If you begin to find a trend over the next few weeks, you may have just found your future ambassadors for a campaign you want to run or just simply all-stars of your Facebook community.
