Personal Diary of Zed

About Me
This is a little weird to write because this is my personal diary, but I guess if someone were to find it or stumble across it, they should probably know who I am.

Hi! I’m Zed. If there’s one thing you should know about me it is that my life-long dream is to grow up and be a DRAGON! It’s all I’ve ever wanted. You see, being a Kobold means you are pretty small and the world likes to pick on you. Even worse, I’m a pretty small Kobold, so everyone is picking on little Zed.

I like to label my diary entries, but they show up with the newest entry first. So if you want to avoid secrets and spoilers, you'll have to visit the end of the diary to get to the beginning. Tricky aren't I?!

Week 38 - Ribbit, Ribbit

10/20/2022

After some long discussions with the shaman, we come to find that she wants us to kill the Dragon they already killed because it is killing their tribe. That doesn't make much sense to me for a lot of reason, first being WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO KILL A DRAGON! They are perfect. Just look at Valdis! Rillek and Baalor are all for the hunt. My friends just don't listen to me, we don't have to kill it.

Anyways. We head into the cave to try and find Macaw the Crimson, and I guess maybe find the dragon. It's not a priority, but if it happens, it happens. We run into a group of my fellow Kobolds and I try to ask them what's going on and what is happening here, but they just kind of ignored me like my siblings do. In fact, one had the audacity to try and scare us off with an attack, but that only made the party mad.

I had no interest in fighting my fellow kobolds, but I did see one take off running, which I thought was normal, but I still wanted my questions answered.  I dashed after him asking if we could talk about his car's extended warranty and that I still had questions. We quickly found ourselves to a huge hole in the ground and the Kobold jumped with no hesitation.  It looked dark and dangerous, so I wasn't going to follow. Turns out, the party knocked out all but 2 of the kobolds from the large group and took them hostage.  Their master lives in the hole, but they've never seen Macaw, only trolls.  So we kind of know where the dragon is, but Macaw is our bigger focus.

Mordoc was all for fighting the dragon while we are healthy, but I managed to get them to at least finish looking where we are at before we jump down the dark hole. We found some trolls, beat them up, but there was no Macaw...

The Kobolds, they lied? I should have seen that coming.

We further explore and come across a collection of toads. They were cool. They were carving the history of the dragon into the walls of the cave. It's like their own book of dragon facts. We talked with the leader and found that yes, Macaw was being guarded by trolls, but not where we were.

One more trip with better instructions lead us to another room with trolls, and this time, we see a tent in the back of the room...did we find Macaw?
