Personal Diary of Zed

About Me
This is a little weird to write because this is my personal diary, but I guess if someone were to find it or stumble across it, they should probably know who I am.

Hi! I’m Zed. If there’s one thing you should know about me it is that my life-long dream is to grow up and be a DRAGON! It’s all I’ve ever wanted. You see, being a Kobold means you are pretty small and the world likes to pick on you. Even worse, I’m a pretty small Kobold, so everyone is picking on little Zed.

I like to label my diary entries, but they show up with the newest entry first. So if you want to avoid secrets and spoilers, you'll have to visit the end of the diary to get to the beginning. Tricky aren't I?!

Week 29 - Before the council

7/14/2022

We looked at this scroll. It had some markings on it similar to the floor in the castle. IT CAN TELEPORT US!

ZOOOOOM, we were off, but to where.

In a blink we found ourselves no longer in the mountains and now stood before a big set of doors in a hallway.

"Happy to see you adventurers."

IT WAS LEO! I ran up and gave him a big hug. He then proceeds to fill us in on what is happening and why we are here.

The council has heard of our adventures and the catastrophe that was the crashing of the castle. They also have been putting tabs on the cultists, but they haven't yet figured out what is going on. They need our help.

Mordoc, as our leader, tells the tale of everything we've done, and I mean EVERYTHING. All the little details, meeting Lenny, finding the dragon eggs. Oh, they don't like Valdis, but I'm pretty adamant that she's the best thing in the whole wide world. They are also a little concerned about my love of dragons. One of the members scoffed at me when I asked if a cool dragon fact could help warm him up to the idea of dragons.  No one has said no yet. I was a little heartbroken.

Anyways, after a long talk, and honestly, I kinda zoned out, one of the nice members mentioned that they needed our help and the details would be revealed at a later time. If the rumors and rumbles are true and cultists are working on the improbable task of bring Tiamat to the Sword Coast, then we have a lot of work ahead.

After this meeting was over, Leosine took us to a special inn where we could rest and get ready for what is ahead.
