Personal Diary of Zed

About Me
This is a little weird to write because this is my personal diary, but I guess if someone were to find it or stumble across it, they should probably know who I am.

Hi! I’m Zed. If there’s one thing you should know about me it is that my life-long dream is to grow up and be a DRAGON! It’s all I’ve ever wanted. You see, being a Kobold means you are pretty small and the world likes to pick on you. Even worse, I’m a pretty small Kobold, so everyone is picking on little Zed.

I like to label my diary entries, but they show up with the newest entry first. So if you want to avoid secrets and spoilers, you'll have to visit the end of the diary to get to the beginning. Tricky aren't I?!

Week 26 - How do we get out of here?

6/23/2022

All the tunnels, they lead back to this treasure. The treasure is covered in ice. Giving it a very quick look because the dragon told everyone we're down here, I noticed something that looked like gold coin, only, it wasn't. It was a dragonhide belt and it was shimmering gold like all the money. It called to me, like it was meant to be mine. I don't need gold, or really anything, but I couldn't say no to this precious treasure. I warmed the area up real quick and was able to free the belt from the pile and I tucked it away.

We have to get out of here.

The guys were quick to make sure they could blend in by putting their cultist robes on and well, as the guys like to point out, I'm "just a kobold." we started to make our way back to the stairwell when we were greeted by a bunch of baddies. We had to think quick because I wasn't interested in a fight in these tunnels. Baalor did a little talking and for some reason it worked. They just let us continue on with our way back up.

Continuing up the stair case to the second level, we were greeted by a group of ogres that were looking for a fight. Again, Baalor did a little talking. Mordoc got the banner out to show that we were on the "good" side and wouldn't you believe it? Those ogres believe in anything.  We snuck into a bed room for a quick rest and then proceeded to a very big tower. We open up the door and oops, it was trapped with a little bell to alert that someone opened up the door.

A few more ogres, this time with fancy hats, were sitting there. Baalor told them management had given them a lunch break and we were the replacements. It was good enough for them to leave us alone.  Upstairs in the tower, we met this giant. A giant that was in charge of the castle, which at this point was off the ground and on its way to some destination.

After a deep chat with the giant, we came to terms that Rezmir needs to go and that the giant was going to help us by letting us know where she was. We made our way down stairs and sure enough, she was hiding in a cabin room protected by several baddies and guard drakes.

We started fighting, turns out the costumes could only get us so far. They started beating up Baalor, and I just couldn't let that happen, so I started helping. Patrin got a good look at Rezmir and boom! He filled the room full of spikes, that ought to teach her to mess with us!
